Healthcare Assistant
37.5 hours per week
Salary: From 12.50 per hour enhancements for bank holidays
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our clients team. Our client provides specialist care for adults with neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries offering a supportive environment that promotes recovery independence and dignity.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and have experience working in healthcare settings ideally in specialist areas such as Neuro or Palliative care.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a healthcare environment preferably within a specialist service
- Understanding of key healthcare legislation and its practical applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A compassionate approach with the ability to support individuals in distress

Responsibilities
- Support the assessment planning delivery and evaluation of personalised care under supervision or within your competency level
- Maintain high standards of care by following best practice guidelines and supporting continuous staff development
- Communicate effectively with the team and report changes in service users conditions promptly
- Promote choice and encourage service user feedback to ensure their voices are central to care planning
- Help maintain a safe working environment by raising concerns and adhering to policies and procedures
- Carry out additional reasonable duties to ensure the smooth running of the service
