This Notice is being provided as a result of the filing of an application for permanent alien labor certification for the following job opportunity:
Position Title:Assistant Professor of Finance
Position Requirements: The candidate must have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in finance financial economics or related field from an AACSB or comparably accredited program. A.B.D. (all but dissertation) is acceptable. The candidate must also demonstrate potential to conduct high quality research; and demonstrate potential to teach effectively.
Position Duties: The job duties of the position are as follows: (i) teach undergraduate courses as well as courses in the Masters of Finance program with a course load of four courses per year; (ii) engage in research; (iii) perform service to the department School University and/or profession; and (iv) perform collaborative engagement with colleagues.

Scheduled Work Hours: This is a fulltime academic position with typical work hours ranging from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Candidates will be expected to provide: a cover letter that addresses each of the minimum qualifications and any of the applicable preferred qualifications met; a curriculum vitae/resume that includes a detailed record of professional and teaching experience; a Statement of Teaching Experience and Philosophy that describes how the applicants professional and/or prior teaching experience would inform their teaching; evidence of Teaching Effectiveness (e.g. teaching evaluations and syllabi); a Statement of Research that describes the candidates research agenda the publication status on current work and if applicable current progress towards defending their dissertation; if A.B.D. a letter from the dissertation advisor attesting to the likelihood of completion in the near future and contact information for two professional references who will be contacted later in the process.
