Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to provide care coordination outreach and support services for newly diagnosed and hardertoreach clients to engage or retain them in care through Early Intervention Services and/or the Minority AIDS initiative. This position will conduct HIV outreach and testing services in both clinic and community settings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a healthrelated program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the healthrelated field of work on a yearforyear basis for the required experience and education.
