Job Description

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical HSE Inspector to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a crucial member of our Health Safety and Environment department you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and maintaining a safe work environment across our projects.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies
  • Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
  • Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to health safety and environmental standards
  • Review and evaluate safety plans and risk assessments for various projects
  • Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and subcontractors promoting a strong safety culture
  • Develop and distribute educational materials on HSE best practices
  • Investigate accidents incidents and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments to company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections incidents and training activities
  • Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management and relevant stakeholders
  • Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies for projects
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives
  • Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans
  • Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure emergency preparedness

Qualifications :

  • Saudi nationality is required for this position
  • Bachelors degree 
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH OSHA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within building road industrial or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
  • Valid Saudi drivers license
  • Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for site inspections
  • Proficiency in using computer software for report writing and data analysis
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
