Job Description
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain models focused on the North American natural gas and electricity markets
- Assess new data sources and modeling techniques
- Collaborate with coworkers to integrate their expertise into an overarching view of the larger market
- Present that view both internally to regional team heads and externally to certain clients
- Help with ad hoc questions and requests about specific elements of the gas or power market
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree focus in Finance Economics Statistics or Engineering preferred
- Completed internship in the Energy Industry preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and the rest of the Office suite
- Programming skills are preferred (languages: Python R VBA)
- Ability to communicate; listening to internal experts and presenting your own views
- Capability to upkeep longterm projects and shift to answering one off questions
- Ability to work in Spring TX office at least 2 days per week
