Job Description
Job Title: General Laborer Demolition
Location: Shafter CA
Position Overview:
Key Staffing is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with the demolition of buildings on district property. This role will be responsible for supporting all phases of the demolition process including site preparation debris removal cleanup and operating or assisting with demolition tools and equipment. This position may also include other general labor tasks as needed to support airport district operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the demolition of buildings and structures in a safe and efficient manner.
Prepare job sites by removing materials and setting up safety barriers.
Operate or support the use of demolition tools and equipment under supervision.
Load and unload materials and remove debris from work areas.
Maintain a clean and organized worksite throughout and after demolition.
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
Perform other general labor duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in demolition/construction required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
Comfortable using hand tools and basic power equipment.
Strong work ethic punctuality and attention to safety.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
Outdoor work environment with exposure to varying weather and terrain.
Work may involve loud noise dust and debris.
PPE required (e.g. hard hat gloves steeltoe boots safety glasses).
