ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts prospecting calls site inspections and outside sales calls and maintains a weekly Activity Report to keep a record of new business.
- Responsible for organizing and supporting the weekly calendar of sales meetings solicitation calls either inside or out and site inspections.
- Responsible for the information distribution of InHouse events and meetings. Responsible for the creation and distribution of BEO and InHouse Events and Meetings. Will be the main contact for all InHouse Inquiries and the main editor of the InHouse Inquiries Form Spreadsheet. Attends any planning meetings related to this event. Is the main contact for any cancellations that occur and informs the BEO group of any cancellations within 24 hours of receiving notice of the cancellation.
- Provides support and leadership to the Sales Coordinator and works with them to prepare for trade shows wedding shows etc.
- Attends all bridal shows including booth registration booth setup promotions and followup. Maintains records of all shows with revenue booked.
- Attends networking events each month to develop community relations.
- Work closely with the Purchasing Manager for the arrival of group packages.
- Arrange detailing appointments with upcoming groups to prepare banquet event orders three weeks in advance.
- Consistently exhibit excellent internal and external customer service.
- Greet and communicate with all customers and group members in a friendly courteous empathetic manner.
- Complete other duties as assigned in a timely and professional manner.
- Within the realm of responsibility of the job maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Greet every client upon arrival and prepare VIP room amenities with welcome notes.
- After departure send a thank you for your business card.
- Prepare a customer profile to follow up with on special occasions including birthdays.
- Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act Internal Control Minimum Procedures internal policies and procedures Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations and various federal and state regulations and changes in regulation.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated knowledge of and experience using Google Applications such as Docs Sheets and Slides. Must be a team player with a high level of dedication and have excellent communication skills. Have the ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure. Good organizational skills and demonstrated experience in problemsolving and prioritizing work.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from High School or equivalent amount of experience and education. One (1) to three (3) or more years of recent and related office experience is preferred. Gaming experience and/or Colorado Group Sales experience is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English. Able to communicate with all necessary staff in a timely professional manner.
REASONING ABILITY:Position often performs beyond the scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must have a valid Colorado Drivers License with a good driving record
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Possess the ability to perform basic mathematical computations work a 10key calculator by touch demonstrate basic computer skills data entry and filing paperwork both online and paper copies. Wellorganized and responsible with an aptitude for problemsolving.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve sitting while completing paperwork or using a computer; and kneeling and squatting. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds to stack store or move general office supplies equipment and storage boxers. Essential duties involve a standard workweek with additional hours as needed.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$56485 annually. In addition to the base salary a commission structure based on KPIs will be applicable to this position.
