Job Description
Hire Resolves client a reputable and wellestablished multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm known for its involvement in largescale public infrastructure projects is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Urban Infrastructure department in Cape Town.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled Contract Engineer / Employers Agent with strong capabilities in contract administration tender documentation and construction cost estimation. A background in urban road and municipal infrastructure design project management and quality assurance is essential.
Responsibilities
Act as Contract Engineer / Employers Agent on major urban infrastructure projects.
Administer construction contracts including FIDIC and GCCbased agreements.
Prepare tender documentation and construction cost estimates.
Manage all aspects of project lifecycle including design procurement and delivery.
Oversee quality management systems onsite and in documentation.
Collaborate with public sector clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Mentor junior engineers and support professional development initiatives.
Requirements
or in Civil Engineering (minimum); or preferred.
Professionally registered as PrEng with ECSA.
Minimum 10 years postregistration experience in relevant fields.
Expertise in urban roads stormwater sewer and water reticulation systems.
Proficient in MS Excel AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civilsoft Bill.
Strong contract administration and reporting skills.
