Schedule:This is an in person position Monday through Friday 8:30am5pm.
Wage Range:$30 $42 hourly nonexempt

Position Overview:

The Clinical Supervisor will have clinical and operational oversight over Mental Health
Counselors Therapists and Behavioral Health Consultants. Facilitates and supervises the
development and implementation of mental health services for individuals and families.
Provides clinical and administrative supervision for direct service staff. Provides direct service
to a small number of clients as needed.

What you will do:

New employee orientation and training
Supervise counselors therapists interns and behavioral health consultants and oversee
their daytoday activities.
Provide culturally appropriate clinical consultation and advocacy to enhance care of
Native Americans individuals.
Develop protocols for communication referral consultation documentation data
collection and reportwriting.
Facilitate regular team meetings. Participate in agency and interagency meetings.
Coordinate with medical health services and addiction services where program and
client needs overlap.
Develop implement and promote culturally appropriate mental health treatment for
Native Americans diagnosed with mental health and alcohol and drug disorders.
Promote outreach activities and other agency services.
Function as a member of the Mental Health and Addiction and Recovery Teams.
Participate in quality assurance activities including chart review and audit preparation.
Participate in hiring process and performance evaluation of team members.
Attend as well as develop and deliver relevant trainings as assigned.
Meet regularly with Program Director for supervision as needed.
Provide consultation in crises and oncall services as needed.
Documented successful program development direct care supervision skills.
Documented effectiveness in presenting ideas transmitting information conveying
concepts to individuals or groups of people of varying educational cultural and
experience levels.
Attend relevant training as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We would like to hear from people that have:

Masters degree in Social Work Psychology or Counseling.
Must be a certified QHMP with the MHACBO board.
Licensure as LCSW LPC LMFT or Psychologist.
Five years supervisory experience.
Alcohol and Drug Certification a plus.
Minimum two years experience serving the mental health needs of adults children and
families.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients the community and other staff
members.
Work collaboratively with clients other NARA staff team members and to treat
everyone with respect and dignity at all times.
Experience working within the Native American/Alaska Native community is considered
a plus.
Ability to pass a preemployment or for cause drug tests.
Ability to pass criminal background and DMV checks.
Mental Health Therapists must be able to pass a CRIMS finger printing and background
check.

sobriety both on and off the job including no alcohol drinking no illicit drug use no
marijuana use and no prescription drug abuse behavior. If in recovery must have been
sober/clean for a length of time sufficient to demonstrate that will be able to model
sobriety
