Job Description
The MultiDomain Solutions Division at Leidos currently has openings for a Network Engineer to work with our team in Orlando FL.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide Network Engineering support to include planning designing and evaluating specific network architecture.
- Architect and support the installation configuration and maintenance of Juniper network hardware and software.
- Develop and manage policies and profiles to optimize application delivery and security.
- Work with Tier 2 Managers to establish regular monitoring of network devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Work closely with network engineers system administrators and application developers to ensure seamless integration of network solutions.
- Support Classified IT infrastructure
- Provide technical expertise to resolve networking events as well as update and configure equipment while maintaining a configuration management process throughout the systems life cycle.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5 years or prior relevant experience or MS with 3 years or prior relevant experience.
- Must possess an active US Top Secret Clearance.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts protocols and security practices.
- Able to troubleshoot enterprise applications such as DNS DHCP and Email.
- Experience with Cisco or Juniper Routing/Switching
- Desire to work in a diverse dynamic and demanding work environment with the capability to work both independently and with internal/external teams.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Juniper Certified or Cisco Certified
- RedHat support experience.
- SDWAN experience
- Prior experience with SAFe Agile implementation
- Previous experience working on complex multidomain systems
- Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio
- Experience with design of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network

Pay Range:
Pay Range $72150.00 $130425.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
