An exciting opportunity has arisen for aCurriculum Leader Design and Technology to join our team atThe Portsmouth Academyfrom September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Design Technology curriculum
- Deliver outstanding teaching that engages and motivates students
- Support and develop a team of teachers and technicians
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement
- Champion creativity sustainability and innovation across the department
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)with a strong track record in Design Technology
- Proven leadershipability or the potential to lead and inspire a team
- Uptodate knowledge of the national curriculumand technological advancements
- Passionate about developingstudents practical and creative skills
