Role: Deputy Manager Ofsted Childrens Home
Location: Wythenshawe Manchester
Salary:
Contract/Hours: Permanent Full Time 40 hours a week Monday to Sunday

As a Deputy Manager in this childrens residential service youll thrive on ensuring each young person in your care feels heard and supported to achieve their potential no matter the challenges they face. This role isnt just about managing staff and daily operations; youll play an active role in the lives of the children and young people. About the Home:
This position is based in a Solo residential home for children and young people aged 8 to 18 with various learning disabilities. They strive to create a homely and supportive environment assisting children with household tasks and all aspects of their care. Our focus is on ensuring the childrens voices are heard and providing a collaborative and caring service. Our goal is to ensure a safe and happy childhood in a friendly warm and inclusive environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experienced in Team management
  • Level 3 in Childrens Residential and it is desirable that you have enrolled on or completed your Level 5
  • 2 Years experience working in Children Homes Ofsted Provisions
  • Emotional resilience to handle the challenging nature of the role
  • Ability to Delegate
  • Strong knowledge base of legislation policy and procedures
