QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Currently enrolled in the equivalent of a Masters level degree programs working towards Associate Clinical Social Work Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and/or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
- Currently enrolled in the equivalent of a Masters Level Intern or practicum course for Marriage and Family Therapy Clinical Counseling or Social Work Practicum course
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Position Specific
- Provides comprehensive strengthbased culturally competent flexible effective quality mental health services including psychotherapeutic interventions to eligible atrisk children youth and families.
- Provides services to assigned youth in the school based settings
- May be responsible for assessment development and implementation of support plans
- Provides collateral support to caregivers and significant support persons as identified in youths support team
- Provides case management functions as necessary securing formal resources and keeping team members informed of progress and challenges presented.
- May develop and cofacilitate rehabilitative and/or skill building groups
- Develops and prepares updates to individualized safety plans in coordination with youths child family team maximizing the use of natural supports and community based resources
- Attends all staff meetings clinical supervision and consultation meetings as scheduled
- Responsible for meeting all outcomes as documented in Employee Development Plan
- Works collaboratively with all internal programs departments and staff
- Maintains positive relationships with consumers and colleagues
Agency Specific
- Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the principles and values of agency while adhering to applicable professional codes of ethics the agencys policies and procedures contractor requirements and regulatory requirements.
- Model and communicate appropriate positive attitudes toward the agencys Mission Vision and Values
- Work collaboratively with all agency programs and staff to provide support as needed
- Utilize and maintain calendar with all workrelated details in order to manage time effectively and share calendar information with coworkers
- Participate in ongoing training to expand and develop professional skills
- Perform other duties as necessary for the agency as assigned
Employment AtWill
Employment at the Agency is terminable atwill which means that employment may be
terminated at any time without cause or reason by either the employee or the Agency. In
addition the Agency may also demote layoff transfer or reassign employees at any time at its
sole discretion without cause or reason.
