Part-TimeSchool-Year Custodian
Hamilton Community Schools has an opening for a part-timeschool year custodian atHamilton Middle School and invites hardworking self-motivated individuals to apply for this position.
LOCATION:Bentheim Elementary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
- Ability to perform physical work that may include the lifting/moving of 50 lbs.
- Demonstrates dependability and promptness
- Contribute to a positive climate andculture by exhibiting high professional standards
- Provide a foundation for integrity pride of accomplishment self-discipline and teamwork
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Perform all routine cleaning and basic maintenance for the school as prescribed by the custodial duty listing and schedules which includes but is not limited to:
- Removing trash
- Cleaningand disinfecting floors windows restrooms etc.
- Event setups/cleanups
- Changing light bulbs
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Other duties as assigned
REPORTS TO:Custodial Supervisor
PAY RATE:$16.81/hourplus an additional $1.50/hour night premiumfor hours worked 3:00 pm and after
AVERAGE WORK WEEK:Monday - Friday from 3:30 PM - 9:00PM during school are on a budgeted hours of 120 which can be accepted in full or turned down entirely. (7:00 AM start time summer)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly required to sit stand walk talk hear operate a computer hand-held learning devices and other office equipment reach with hands and arms and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
