Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible experience in development and fundraising preferably with several years of experience in a collegiate/university setting. Transferable skill sets will be taken into consideration. Demonstrated success in obtaining gifts of $25000 and above and/or closing a series of major gifts within a fiscal year. Experience working with fundraising volunteers. Excellent organizational communication and analytical skills. Ability to interact effectively with high capacity donors and prospects corporate executives and foundation officers. Thorough knowledge of the major gifts fundraising process and an understanding of planned giving. Knowledge of the computer and databases and their application to development and fundraising activities. Requirements could include evening meetings special event attendance and/or travel. Must possess a valid drivers license and driving record acceptable to the University by the Universitys insurance carrier.

FT/Reg (40 hours)
