First Shift (United States of America)Cardiac Device EKG Technician
Nebraska Medicine is seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as an EKG Cardiac Device Technician. In this role youll be responsible for performing EKG tests including both adult and pediatric patients applying holter monitors and cardiac event recorders and assisting with various specialty EKG procedures. You will work closely with patients nurses staff and physicians while also documenting and transcribing results into the hospitals Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Location: Durham Outpatient Center Nebraska Medicine Omaha NE
Shift Details:
Full Time 40 hours per week
Monday Friday
8:00am 4:30pm
No weekends or holidays

Duties: Cardiac Device EKG Technician
Perform adult and pediatric EKGs specialty EKG apply holter monitors and cardiac event recorders. Directly interact with patients nurses staff and physicians. Transcribe test results into hospitals Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Required Qualifications: Cardiac Device EKG Technician
High school education or equivalent required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1 2023 or later).
Preferred/Desired Qualifications: Cardiac Device EKG Technician
Two years experience in EKG preferred.
Medical experience preferred
College courses in physiology anatomy and/or related subjects preferred.
Associate of Science degree preferred.
Graduate of an accredited school of allied health/technology preferred.
