Pharma Purchase Executive is responsible for procuring the necessary raw materials packaging and other supplies for a pharmaceutical company ensuring costeffectiveness quality and timely delivery. They manage the endtoend procurement process including sourcing suppliers negotiating contracts and managing inventory. This role also involves maintaining highquality standards and building strong supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supplier Management:
Identifying evaluating and selecting potential suppliers negotiating contracts and maintaining vendor relationships.
Procurement Planning and Execution:
Preparing purchase requisitions issuing purchase orders and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory levels managing stock and ensuring timely replenishment.
Cost Optimization:
Negotiating prices payment terms and other contractual conditions to secure costeffective purchases.
Quality Assurance:
Ensuring that purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications collaborating with quality control teams.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintaining accurate records of purchases contracts and supplier agreements preparing periodic reports.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
Interfacing with other departments like finance warehousing and regulatory affairs to ensure smooth operations.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
Staying current on market trends competitor activities and alternative suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. supply chain management business administration).
Experience in procurement ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
