DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
INTERVIEW SCHEDULE:
Those applicants who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in a 15 min phone interview the week of May 26 2025.
WHO MAY APPLY:
This recruitment is open to all qualified applicantsand may be used to fill current and or/future career service termlimited temporary shortterm temporary and or/special duty positions over the next six months.

Applicants will be screened for clarity completeness and competitiveness. The most competitive candidates may be invited toparticipatein one or more interviews.
WORK SCHEDULE:
The typical work schedule during spring/summer months is MondayThursday 10hour shifts (6:00am to 4:30pm). During fall/winter we move to a MondayFriday schedule with 8hour shifts (7:00am to 3:30pm). Working afterhours weekends and holidays may be required in emergency circumstances such as during inclement weather and on special projects. Additional hours weekends and holidays vary upon business demand season and weather.This position is NonExempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay with prior supervisor approval.
EMERGENCY DESIGNATION STATUS:
This position has been designated (Mission Critical) Those employees who providemaintain and reestablish essential county functions as described in agency Continuity of Operations plans.

This position is represented by Local 117.
