Job Description

Job Description

1. Conducts initial intake interview obtaining information to determine appropriateness of referral and when not appropriate suggesting alternative resources.2. Schedules initial and follow up visits. Maintains wait list as needed.3. Gathers consents and intake documentation in advance of visits and dependent on type of visit. Makes sure families have necessary documents to complete.4. Assists with overall program development (therapy groups educational events etc.) and communication surrounding these events. 5. Helps develop program invites coordinating and preparation of event space track RSVPs and marketing material about events.6. Assists in developing marketing and patient material. Assembles patient packets as needed.7. Assists in with communication with schools and outside providers. Coordinates calls that require provider involvement. 8. Assists in getting authorization from parents to release or request information from outside providers. 9. Develops and maintains referral list; assists other staff members and families in locating resources.10. Coordinates with TCP EMR Analyst new and updates to smart phrase sets. Communicates changes to TCP clinical teams. 11. Maintains appropriate documentation of patient interactions and statistics as needed by the department.12. Handles insurance verification for all BH visits. This includes benefit eligibility and priorauthorization verification for office visits ADHD or nonADHD medications.13. Responds and makes decisions about the nature of patient emergencies. Seeks input from BH or clinical providers includes providing service or referral when necessary.14. Manages and updates BH paper forms. Includes communicating form updates to other TCP departments and on website.15. Creates agenda and records minutes from monthly mental health meetings.16. Orders supplies for BH providers.17. Assists with gathering data (e.g. Family Experience Survey Provider Survey)18. Gathers scores and enters data for screening/assessment measures (e.g. Vanderbilt anxiety questionnaires).19. Assists with Administrative paperwork related to QI initiatives. 20. Assumes responsibility for own ongoing professional development. 21. Other job functions as assigned.

Education

Pay Range

$21.00$32.55 Hourly

The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
