Cloud & DevSecOps Lead

Cloud Platform is one of the key enablers for digital transformation. As part of the continued transformation Chubb is increasing the pace of application transformation into containers and cloud adoption through DevSecOps and CD/CD.

As such we are seeking senior experienced Chapter lead in Greece who can be part of this exciting journey at Chubb. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Cloud and DevSecOps teams in the region working with Global Chapter leads. A successful candidate would have handson experience of Cloud Platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS) DevSecOps(Jenkins/Ansible/SonarQube/GitHub/TestingTools) and experience with application best practices for Cloud and DevSecOps automation and adoption.

The Greece Chapter lead will work closely with development teams to ensure cloud solutions meet their needs and support their application DevSecOps lifecycle. The candidate will also be responsible for cloud infrastructure and DevSecOps global operations during the Greece timezone working with global teams for 24/7 follow the sun model. This is a unique opportunity for right leader to steer the product capabilities as Chubb Embarks on enhancing its cloud and DevSecOps platform capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Leadership to build and execute on the Chubbs Cloud and DevSecOps strategy.
• Present to Senior stakeholders and executive on the roadmap and progress of cloud and DevSecOps Projects.
• Champion the organizations DevSecOps strategy aligning security practices with development and operations workflows.
• Manage the local teams of DevSecOps Engineers and Cloud Engineers and ensure projects are tracked and delivered on time.
• Ensure security considerations are embedded in infrastructureascode (IaC) and configuration management processes.
• Work with application stakeholders and ensure they are following Cloud Adoption Framework and designing apps with current Chubb Standards.
• Implement automation and selfservice capabilities using CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure and applications.
• Document and Design controls and governance policies around cloud platform and automate deployments of the security policies in collaboration with security team.
• Manage the end user collaboration conduct regular sessions to educate Application users on services and automation capabilities and Chubb best practices.
• Attend escalations and provide support during major production issues. Participate in security audits and risk assessments related to Cloud and SDLC.
• Foster a securityconscious culture within the organization.
• Assess the current application maturity with regards to cloud native architecture and CI/CD direct them towards Chubb Standard pattern.

• Bachelors degree in computer science Computer Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum of 15year experience in IT automation with 5 years supporting cloud platform (Azure/GCP) and DevSecOps.
• Relevant Azure/GCP certification.
• Experience with large cloud transformation projects preferably in Azure.
• Extensive experience with cloud platform mainly Azure/GCP. Worked on design of IAM/Security/Monitoring and Network Design of Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as code and pipelines preferably using terraform ansible Bash python Jenkins/groovy and provide test automation.
• Ability to work in both windows and Linux environment with Containers platform such as Kubernetes AKS GKE.
• Solid understanding of security principles best practices and frameworks.
• Experience with security testing methodologies and tools.
• Excellent experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK and Prometheus and change management tool such as ServiceNow.
