Job Description
STU AST CLERICAL & ADMIN
The Student Assistant within Off Campus Life is responsible for:
- Developing and implementing educational programming on resources available within the surrounding Gainesville community and those living off campus
- Compiling assessment data utilizing information to generate reports for decisionmaking
- Assisting with daily operation of Off Campus Life including answering incoming phone calls emails walkin appointments and maintaining appropriate filing
- Resolving customer or resident questions and provide the proper resources
- Assisting with social media planning messaging and management for events and programs
- Attending Off Campus Life events and programs to generate social media content for current and future events
- Creating a welcoming environment for all students families and visitors through positive interactions and engagement
$13.00 per hour
- This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on campus and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Registered students are employed on a parttime basis up to 20 hours per week.
- Demonstrate professionalism attention to detail dependability and timeliness
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- This position may require availability for shift times on evenings and weekends
