Position for Kindergarten Teacher

About SRF Vidyalaya

SRF Vidyalaya believes that good quality education is an instrument that lights up the path of the learner and brings a positive change on a personal and community level. The SRF Vidyalya was set up in April 2020 by the SRF Foundation. The aim of the school is to provide valuebased quality education to children belonging to the underprivileged and/or lower income groups and to reduce the burden of expensive school fees on the parents.

Situated in a clean and green campus in Sector 40 Gurugram with wellventilated classrooms the school has grown from Nursery to Grade 5 and will go up to Grade 12 in the coming years. SRF Vidyalaya is an English medium coeducational school and follows CBSE Board pattern with spiral curriculum enriched by scholastic and nonscholastic subjects.

Over the last three years the school has been well received by the community. There are 200 students currently enrolled in the school and are guided by a welltrained team of teachers and committed volunteers.

With a nominal fee structure the school follows a lowcost highquality model with contribution from SRF Ltd and other likeminded organizations. The curriculum is designed supported and aligned to the experiences and expertise of The Shri Ram Schools thereby following a childentered curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching and Curriculum:
  • Plan and deliver ageappropriate lessons to nursery students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Use creative teaching methods to engage young learners.
  • Introduce basic concepts such as numbers letters shapes and colors.
  • Encourage social and emotional development through play and activities.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  1. Classroom Management:
  • Maintain discipline and ensure a safe classroom environment.
  • Organize classroom materials and resources.
  • Manage transitions between activities effectively.
  • Address individual student needs and provide necessary support.
  1. Parent Communication:
  • Regularly communicate with parents regarding student progress.
  • Conduct parentteacher meetings and share feedback.
  • Collaborate with parents to enhance student learning at home.
  1. Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments.
  • Keep records of student performance and attendance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  1. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other teachers and staff members.
  • Participate in school events workshops and training sessions.
  • Support school initiatives and programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant experience.
  • Patience empathy and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Understanding of the unique needs of EWS students.
