Job Description
(May include but are not limited to the following:)
- Observe and monitor signs symptoms general behavior and general physical response to respiratory care treatment and diagnostic testing to determine whether abnormal characteristics are exhibited.
- Explain procedures to patients and address their concerns professionally and therapeutically.
- Perform duties related to the functioning of the POC testing quality metrics and related specimen retrieval.
- Perform baseline pulmonary function screening and weaning parameters.
- Perform pulmonary diagnostic testing which includes pulmonary screens ABGs SpO2 Peak Flows and oximetry.
- Accurately input data into Allscripts to track procedures supply charges and other relevant information.
- Operate maintain and repair equipment to ensure proper functioning cleanliness and operation.
- AAS from an AMA approved respiratory program
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- BLS/ACLS Certification
Licenses Needed
- RRT
- CRT
- RPFT
- Or CPFT
