Job Description

The position of school psychologist in the Cumberland School Department collaborates with other education specialists to maximize teaching and learning. Must hold RI Department of Education (RIDE) School Psychology Certification . ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Administers and scores relevant educational evaluations2. Consults with teachers and parents regarding student learning and/or social emotional needs3. Prepares submits and interprets required reports on all students assessed to parents teachers and team leaders.4. Provides counseling to students either individually or in small groups 5. Assume other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Special Education and/or Building Administrator.
