Hourly rate: $23.41 $27.98 commensurate with experience
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the HRIS Team Lead the Summer Student will support the Human Resources team in a variety of tasks including assisting with filing and entering information into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and other databases.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Students in Human Resources or Business Administration with a Human Resources focus would be considered an asset
- Experience working in an office environment would be considered an asset
- Minimum of a Secondary High School Diploma
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Welldeveloped verbal & written communication skills
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Intermediate proficiency in computer applications such as Outlook Word and Excel
- Ability to work as an effective team member and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required
- Demonstrated ability to respect the confidentiality of information
