Job Description
Location: College Station TX 77845
Shift: 12 HR Variable Shift
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
- Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist with the preparation implementation and evaluation of the nursing care provided.
- Collaborate with surgical team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vitals surgical site and overall condition before during and after surgery.
- Maintain sterile field and assist surgeons during procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to emergencies efficiently and effectively using sound clinical judgment.
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program OR
- 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience above the minimum qualification.
Major:
- Nursing
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting (Operating Room experience).
Licensure/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) Active and Valid license in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current certification required or must obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
