The Role:
- Provide Level 2 technical support to endusers across the organisation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues.
- Support and maintain IT systems and infrastructure including servers (VMware) and cloud environments (Azure).
- Participate in IT projects such as system migrations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure efficient IT operations.
Skills:
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems Microsoft Office Suite and other common desktop applications.
- Experience with server virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure).
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Confluence Jira).
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and clientfacing skills (a must).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and effective Level 2 support to endusers both remotely and onsite.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network incidents.
- Install configure and maintain desktop computers laptops printers and other peripherals.
- Support and administer servers storage systems and cloud services.
- Perform system monitoring and maintenance tasks.
- Document support activities and solutions in a knowledge base.
- Follow ITIL best practices for incident problem and change management.
- Contribute to IT projects including system upgrades migrations and deployments.
