The Company:

A leading mining organisation with significant operations in Western Australia committed to innovation safety and sustainable resource development offers a dynamic work environment and opportunities for career growth.

The Role:

  • Provide Level 2 technical support to endusers across the organisation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software and network issues.
  • Support and maintain IT systems and infrastructure including servers (VMware) and cloud environments (Azure).
  • Participate in IT projects such as system migrations and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure efficient IT operations.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems Microsoft Office Suite and other common desktop applications.
  • Experience with server virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure).
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Confluence Jira).
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and clientfacing skills (a must).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective Level 2 support to endusers both remotely and onsite.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network incidents.
  • Install configure and maintain desktop computers laptops printers and other peripherals.
  • Support and administer servers storage systems and cloud services.
  • Perform system monitoring and maintenance tasks.
  • Document support activities and solutions in a knowledge base.
  • Follow ITIL best practices for incident problem and change management.
  • Contribute to IT projects including system upgrades migrations and deployments.
