Under the general direction of the AVP Tech Solutions & Innovation this position will work closely with the Innovation Team to support the current programming staff with custom applications and new projects. This position will play a key role in the development design and maintenance of responsive secure accessible and userfriendly mobile and web environments. This position will play a supporting role in the University Relations & Development (URD) Customer Relationship Management (CRM) migration project.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of network architecture configuration and interfaces. Familiarity with different networking protocols such as TCP/IP and NetBlOS for maintaining and troubleshooting. Understanding of authentication services such as Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. Working knowledge of python frameworks especially FastAPI streamlit. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React and Vue desired. Working knowledge of HTML5 CSS and jQuery preferred.
Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community. Ability to follow all university policies procedures and guidelines including but not limited to safety civility information security and nondiscrimination policies and procedures. Ability to contribute to a positive university experience for each and every student and assist in achieving the universitys commitment to a vision of excellence.
Education and Experience
Equivalent to a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Educational Technology or related technical field and two years related experience required.
Preferred experience:
Must have strong working knowledge of python Django
Experience with Python IDE environments (Ex. Pycharm Vscode).
* Thorough understanding of JavaScript Sass react and CSS.
* Working knowledge of Git Azure Devops and Azure cloud development
* Knowledge of SAML based authentication methods.
* Knowledge of LDAP.
* Experience creating normalizing and secure databases using various database offerings (MySQL Azure Cosmos DB Oracle).
* Experience securing and protecting servers and information to comply with campus policies and federal and state laws and acts.

Salary placement is determined by the education experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position internal equity and the hiring departments fiscal resources.
CSU Classification Salary Range: The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $5158 $12730 per month.

1.0 timebase 40 hours per week.
