We are searchingforaCorporateControllertoplayacrucialroleinoverseeing all financial aspects of the company ensuring accuracy compliance and efficiency in financial operations. The Corporate Controller will have a strong background in financial management reporting and leadership.
ESSENTIALDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepareaccurateandtimelyfinancialstatementsincludingincomestatementsbalancesheets and cashflowstatements.
- Providefinancialanalysisandinsightstosupportstrategicdecisionmaking.
- Collaboratewithdepartmentheadstodevelopannualbudgetsandlongtermfinancialforecasts.
- Monitorbudgetperformanceandmakerecommendationsforimprovements.
- EnsurecompliancewithallrelevantfinancialregulationsincludingGAAPandtaxrequirements.
- Overseethepreparationandsubmissionoftaxreturns.
- Implementandmaintainefficientfinancialprocessesandcontrols.
- Leadandmentorateamoffinanceprofessionalsfosteringahighperformanceculture.
- Provideguidanceandsupportforcareerdevelopmentandgrowth.
- Identifyfinancialrisksanddevelopstrategiestomitigatethem.
- Establishandmonitorinternalcontrolstosafeguardcompanyassets.
- Conductfinancialanalysistoassessbusinessperformanceandidentifyopportunitiesfor improvement.
- Prepareadhocfinancialreportsandanalysisasrequired.
- Coordinateandmanagefinancialaudits.
- Ensuresuccessfulcompletionofauditsandimplementauditrecommendations.
REQUIREDEXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a Controller Operational Controller or in a similar finance leadership role within a distribution environment including at least 2 years in a managerial capacity leading a team.
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of GAAP is required.
- ExperienceintheCPGindustry Big 4 accounting firms and private equity isstrongly preferred.
- Proficiency withfinancialmanagementsoftware; Knowledge of SAPor AS400isa plus.
- Experiencewithinventorymanagementandoptimization.
- Strong financialanalysisbudgetingandforecasting skills.
- Solidunderstandingofoperationalprocesseswithinadistributionsetting.
- Excellentanalyticalandproblemsolvingabilities.
- High attentiontodetailandaccuracy.
