Job Description
1.0 FTE Certified English Teacher
- Hold or be eligible for current CT State certification English/Language Arts (015)
- Collaborate and establish positive relationships with students teachers building administrators parents anddistrict leaders.
- Assess student needs and providing support or extra resources to struggling students as well as exceptional achievers.
- Actively involve students in the classroom through group work projectbased learning exploration questioning discussion and other cooperative teaching techniques.
- Utilize best practice instructional strategies and researchbased intervention curriculum materials to meet the learning needs all students
- Integrate technology including google classroom seamlessly into teaching strategies and practices
- Analyze existing student achievement data to drive instruction.
- Maintain accurate student records parent communications records and student progress data.
- Maintain proper professional conduct as defined in the Connecticut Code of Professional Responsibilities for Teachers.
