Compensation plans are based on a multistep progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.
**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies and Montgomery Personnel Board Rules & Regulations**
Bachelors degree in BusinessAdministration Finance Sports Management Hospitality Management PublicAdministration Facility Management or a related field and five (5) years ofexperience in event management facility operations sports venue managementor business development. Experience overseeing largescale public events andmultipurpose venues is preferred. An MBA or relevant advanced degree orprofessional certification (e.g. Certified Venue Executive Certified SportsEvent Executive Facility Management Professional Certified Property Manager)is a plus.
Abilityto work irregular hours for overseeing city events work indoors and outdoorsduring all types of weather conditions to walk stand and/or maneuver aroundfacilities for long periods.
