Position Description:
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled junior AI developer for a coop position starting Fall 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in AI development machine learning operations and data pipeline engineering in a collaborative environment.
Start Date: September 2nd 2025

Assist in developing implementing and maintaining machine learning models
Support data pipeline development and optimization
Help with feature engineering and model evaluation
Contribute to ML experiment tracking and model versioning
Assist in deploying AI models to production environments
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Document processes techniques and learnings
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Programming Languages
Proficiency in Python
Experience with SQL
Familiarity with Java or Scala (nice to have)
Machine Learning / AI
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals
Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or scikitlearn
Knowledge of deep learning concepts
Familiarity with computer vision or NLP techniques (nice to have)
Familiarity with Generative AI and Agentic (nice to have)
Data Engineering
Experience with data processing and ETL pipelines
Familiarity with big data technologies
Understanding of data modeling concepts
Knowledge of data versioning and management
MLOps & Tools
Git version control
Experience with Jupyter notebooks and data visualization
Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
Understanding of CI/CD principles
Knowledge of ML experiment tracking tools (MLflow) (nice to have)
Cloud Platforms
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS Azure or GCP)
Experience with cloudbased ML services (nice to have)
Databases
Experience with relational databases
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (nice to have)
Qualifications
Strong programming skills with focus on Python
Good understanding of machine learning concepts
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Passionate about AI and continuous learning
