The Bonadio Group has a tremendous opportunity for a dedicated professional in our business valuation practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of business and intangible asset valuation experience be highly motivated with the desire to build relationships and provide superior clientservice.
Responsibilities
Perform business and intangible asset valuations for tax (gift and estate) financial reporting (business combinations and impairment testing) litigation support and other purposes.
Participate in management interviews to gather pertinent insight and data for valuation purposes.
Conduct research on clients competitors industries and capital markets including market multiples financial ratios and discount rates.
Develop review and modify valuation models incorporating various business valuation (DCF Guideline Public Company Transaction Method etc.) and intangible asset valuation (MultiPeriod Excess Earnings Relief from Royalty etc.) methodologies.
Maintain a strong work file in support of all underlying valuationrelated assumptions.
Prepare valuation reports supporting business valuations purchase price allocations and impairment testing.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance)
A minimum of five years of experience in business and intangible asset valuation using various income market and cost approach methodologies.
Experience with option pricing models Monte Carlo simulation and Binomial Models preferred.
Progress toward achievement of or desire to obtain an applicable valuation designation (ASA ABV CVA CBA or CFA).
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
Proven research analytical critical thinking and problemsolving skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail ability to manage time work on multiple assignments prioritize tasks & focus on quality work
The salary range for this opportunity is between $65000 $80000 per year and is commensurate with experience.
Hours of Operation:
Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
Our summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday
We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however at peak times additional hours may be required
