Offering rate will vary within the listed range above. *Supported by the Department budget & related experience/education*

Questions before applying
Role:
Conduct abuse/neglect investigations during business hours. Petition court for business hour CINC removals and present in court. Provide family preservation services. Conduct and prepare home studies for CINC adoptions. CINC Team Member. Oncall rotation for afterhours abuse/neglect investigations/foster home emergencies petition court for after hours CINC removals and present in court.
To qualify for this position applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Minimum Requirements:
Driving: Valid Kansas Drivers license free of occupational restrictions. Must be insurable with the Nations insurance carrier.
Experience: 6 months of direct social work experience; specifically case management child welfare and/or foster care. Must have interest and basic knowledge of Native lifestyle and culture.
Education: Bachelors degree in social work. Current Kansas Social Worker license with the BSRB or ability to get licensed within 6 months.
