Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Tower Hamlets to assist with the appointment of a Commercial Manager on a 6month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 286.60 398.00 per Day

Summary:

The Commercialisation Programme Manager will lead and drive commercial strategy across Public Protection & Integrated Enforcement services. This strategic leadership role is key to identifying developing and delivering new incomegenerating opportunities partnerships and innovative service models that support the councils sustainability and financial growth ambitions while enhancing the safety and wellbeing of residents.

Responsibilities:

  • To develop and lead the implementation a commercial strategy and plan for Public Protection & Integrated Enforcement Services including Tower Hamlets Enforcement Officer Service The Antisocial Behaviour Service CCTV control room and operations services and related infrastructure and assets.
  • To lead the identification and development of new commercial opportunities across relevant service areas including the effective research development design and implementation of products and services to meet revenue and service expectations.
  • To develop new and innovative products and service to achieve planned income expectations by growing core and targeted sales of services and assets.
  • To oversee the development of business cases pricing strategies and commercial models to maximise income and ensure financial sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in business public administration or a related field.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to commercial leadership.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Technical knowledge and indepth understanding of commercial strategy development and delivery planning within a public sector context.
  • Knowledge and expertise of revenue growth and marketing strategies.
  • Expertise in marketing and communications and business development.

Experience Required:

  • Significant experience in a commercial incomegeneration or business development role preferably in or in partnership with the public sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful commercial initiatives and / or traded services.
  • Experience of Leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering results in a politically sensitive environment.
  • Experience of financial and performance reporting business planning and budget management.
  • Experience in a senior role within or alongside community safety or regulatory services.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
