Tasks
We are seeking a detailoriented Accounting Manager with 45 years of relevant experience to oversee the financial accounting operations and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills leadership capability and experience with financial controls and compliance. A Chartered Accountant (CA) or CFA designation is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daytoday accounting operations including general ledger accounts payable/receivable fixed assets and intercompany transactions
- Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g. IFRS/GAAP)
- Ensure all monthly quarterly and yearend closing processes are completed on schedule
- Manage statutory audits tax filings and liaise with auditors tax consultants and regulatory bodies
- Design and implement internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis with insights for senior management
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff fostering professional development and efficiency
- Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards and relevant financial regulations
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including finance operations and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- 45 years of relevant accounting experience including at least 12 years in a supervisory or lead role
- CA or CFA (completed or in final stages) preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS GAAP)
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Tally QuickBooks)
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong analytical mindset attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in a midtolarge enterprise or consulting environment
- Exposure to financial audits compliance processes and tax regulations
- Experience with process automation or accounting transformation projects
