Position Summary
The Assistant Vice President reports to the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Administration. The incumbent is responsible for advising and making recommendations to the Chief Financial Officer/Vice President relative to overall University objectives policies and plans wherever accounting student and other financial activities supply chain and procurement matters are involved. The incumbent is responsible for the effective operations of six distinct departments (Accounting Services & Auxiliary Accounting; Accounts Payable & Travel; Procurement &Contract Services; Bursars Office; Property & Receiving Services; Ticket Office) ensuring stewardship security and compliance are at the forefront. The Assistant Vice President serves as Assistant Chief Financial Officer for the University and may serve as acting Vice President in the absence of the Chief Financial Officer/Vice President.
FLSA:Exempt (Not eligible for overtime compensation)
Anticipated Hiring Range:$12917 per month to $13750 per monthcommensurate with the candidates education experience skills and training.
CSU Classification Salary Range:$6891 per month $22119per month
