About the role:
Our client is looking for an experienced release manager to manage the governance and implementation of significant changes being implemented in production across 30 applications.
The successful should have proven Banking experience and can start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a project manager iteration manager or scrum master in IT Consulting or other technology business units across the industry
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in data initiatives such as data modernisation migration governance reporting analytics and data science
- Skills include Project Planning Budgeting Performance Management Scheduling Staffing PM Methods Performance Management Scope Management Contractual Deliverables Change Control and Risk Management
- Solid Understanding of various data professional roles and responsibilities
- Understanding of concepts of businesscritical design services sensitive to performance SLAs with high availability faulttolerance automatic failover and geographical redundancy
- Experience in presenting to and influencing stakeholders and senior managers
- Experience in Banking is required.
- Team leadership and people manager experience

This contract is available for an initial 6 month term with an extension of 6 months.
Located in Sydney this role offers a hybrid working arrangement.
