CommQuest is seeking a FullTime Communications Specialist to join our Marketing & Fund Development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing and brand strategy to support the development and delivery of effective messaging across the organization. This role requires the ability to create and tailor content for both internal and external audiences while ensuring consistency with an established communications plan. The ideal candidate will bring experience in multichannel communication audience engagement and aligning messaging with the organizations overall brand and strategic goals.
Your work will connect our mission to the people we serve our supporters and the wider communityhelping us drive awareness build trust and inspire support.
In this role you will:
- Share CommQuests mission through compelling written visual and digital content
- Be the voice behind our social media presence crafting strategy and managing daytoday activity
- Support public relations efforts and develop strategic communications for campaigns and events
- Build relationships across the organization to ensure messaging is aligned and effective
- Play a critical role in building awareness around mental health and addiction recovery
What is CommQuest CommQuest Services is one of the largest nonprofit mental health addiction recovery and social service organizations in Northeast Ohio. We serve individuals across 34 counties through more than 20 programs in 12 facilities. Our mission is to help people make positive changes in their liveswhether through treatment education or supportive services.

What youll do:
- Write and edit newsletters press releases social media content blogs and more
- Plan and manage agency social media accounts and engagement strategies
- Pitch stories manage media relationships and help protect our public image
- Create promotional materials for events and support onsite communication needs
- Analyze performance data and recommend improvements
- Collaborate across teams and help align agency messaging
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8 a.m.5 p.m. (flexible). Some evenings and weekends required based on events or needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Communications PR Marketing or related field preferred
- 35 years of relevant experience
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Social media management and analytics experience
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and design tools
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
