About the Role:
Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Manager youll be the brains and energy behind our toptier recreation programs and community events. Youll lead seasonal and parttime staff create and evaluate activities for all ages and manage everything from birthday bashes to splash pad safety with a smile and a clipboard.
What Youll Be Doing (a.k.a. Your Day Might Include...):
Planning and supervising community programs and awesome events that make memories.
Greeting residents with a warm smile and solving the occasional Why was pickleball canceled mystery.
Managing staff with equal parts motivation and mentorship.
Keeping records budgets and schedules in check (because fun needs structure too!).
Overseeing our beloved splash pad its like being a lifeguard engineer and happiness ambassador all at once.
Working evenings weekends and holidays as needed. (Yes we throw a party for almost everything!)
You Should Have:
A bachelors degree in Parks & Rec Sports Management or a related field.
At least 2 years of recreation programming or events experience.
CPR & AED certifications (or the willingness to get them fast!).
The drive to be a Certified Pool & Spa Operator within 30 days of hire.
Bonus Points If You:
Can wrangle volunteers vendors and a foam machine all in one afternoon.
Love creating community experiences that bring people together.
Know your way around recreation software and social media marketing.
Enjoy working both behind the scenes and frontandcenter at events.

Schedule:
Mostly MondayFriday 8am5pm but we do throw parties on weekends and holidays so flexibility is a must!
