Are you a Physics student graduating in 2025 from a top 20 UK university
Looking to gain classroom experience before applying for teacher training or a PGCE
A highperforming secondary school in London is now recruiting a Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3KS5 from September 2025.
Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant Key Information:
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract: Fulltime full academic year (termtime only)
- Location: Haringey
- Salary:per annum (pro rata)
- Suitable for: Physics BSc graduates (2025) from a top 20 UK university
- Ideal preparation for a PGCE Schools Direct or teacher training in 2026
The Role Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant:
- Support GCSE and ALevel Physics students in 1:1 and small group settings
- Assist with lesson delivery practicals and differentiated learning
- Work closely with the Science Department to support curriculum goals
- Build relationships with students and act as a relatable academic role model
- Gain valuable experience and insight into a Physics teaching career
Physics Graduate Teaching Assistant The Ideal Candidate:
- On track to graduate in 2025 with a BSc in Physics from a top 20 UK university
- Strong subject knowledge and communication skills
