As a Case Manager for the Youth Quest Program will provide case management for the Youth Quest Program including program promotion delivery of workshops build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders and program administration.
In this role you will:
Demonstrate strong support and commitment to the mission and core values of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka and the YMCA in Canada.
Demonstrate strong support and commitment to serving the membership facility users and all program participants of the YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka
Prepare and coordinate all promotional material and activities
Recruit interview and select appropriate program participants
Coordinate 6 week preemployment curriculum including design and delivery
One to One Case management of program participants
Provide both inreach and outreach support to program participants
Support participants making the transition to work actively assisting participants to secure employment within the community
Recruit and support local employers who employ program participants
Link participants to resources that may assist them in finding a employment or in settling personal issues that are affecting their ability to work
Ensure all administrative duties reporting and file management are completed in an accurate and timely manner
Ensure all financial commitments and partnerships are completed
Adherence to all provincial and federal legislation relevant to job description.
You bring:
PostSecondary Education in Social Services or combination of education and work experience
25 years experience
Career counselling experience both oneonone and in a group setting
Experience working with youth facing barriers
Leadership management an asset
Must have a valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
Willingness to participate in training before or shortly after commencement of work. Training includes; Child Protection orientation AODA training Health & Safety Awareness training Bill 168 (Violence & Harassment in the Workplace) training PCI Compliance
Must be able to work flexible hours based on client needs
