Founded in 1887 Armbrae is a coeducational university preparatory school for students from Preschool to Grade 12 with an enrollment of 360. The Opportunity
We are seeking a temporary fulltime Preschool/PrePrimary Educator to cover a maternity leave starting August 21 2025. The ideal candidate is experienced innovative and passionate about early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and instruct engaging lessons across all curriculum areas.

Foster creativity through storytelling music drama visual arts and physical activity.

Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student learning styles and interests.

Build strong collaborative relationships with colleagues and parents.

Communicate professionally and compassionately with children and families.

Maintain a warm patient and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Education Diploma.

Current First Aid and CPR C certification.

Child Abuse Register Certificate.

Strong understanding of early learning pedagogy including planning implementation and assessment.

A variety of teaching strategies for supporting diverse learning needs.

Energetic collaborative and committed to professional growth.

Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills.

Willingness to engage in cocurricular programs and the broader school community.

Experience in an independent school setting is considered an advantage.
