We Require
Two years of experience performing specialized clerical such as drafting memos and correspondence gathering data for reportsand providing customer service duties
High school diploma or GED
Postsecondary education may substitute for the minimum experience on a yearforyear basis
Valid Arizona drivers license upon hire
The Maricopa County Attorneys Office requires a thorough background check of all successful candidates and is authorized to test prospective employees for the presence of illegally accessed drugs. Drug testing is conducted once an offer has been extended and prior to placement

Clerical/customer service experience in a law office judicial or law enforcement environment
Job Contributions
Locate order pull create and organize case files
Enter and retrieve case information from various databases including the Motor Vehicle Department the Justice Court database and the Superior Court database among others
Perform statistical data collection and tracking
Prepare various correspondences
Research persons information in state and national criminal history databases
Maintain a current TOC with the Department of Public Safety
Enter data for basket submittals and in jail submittals using information provided from various police agency reports
Assist in entering case disposition entries in the MCAO internal database
Working Conditions
Mostly office setting in a highvolume fastpaced legal office environment
Must be available to work weekends occasional holidays and serve as a backup if needed
Requires long periods of sitting while completing computer activities
May require travel to and from jobrelated locations during a scheduled workday subject to County policies regarding the use of County vehicles and/or private vehicles used on County business
Ability to lift boxes and/or pull a mailcart weighing 25 40 pounds
Hybrid and alternative work schedules are available upon successful completion of the 612month probationary period
