Lets talk about you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
A Bachelor of Laws degree or equivalent and admission to practice in Australia
Experience in-house with exposure to governance or company secretarial work
Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess risk quickly
Confident communicator who speaks up when it matters
Telco or ASX-listed company experience is a plus but not essential
Proven ability to:
Make sound decisions under pressure
Lead with problem-solving mindset
Work independently and collaboratively
Learn fast and adapt to change
How will you support our Why
Review and negotiate a variety of contracts including customer procurement consultancy IT sponsorship and leases
Provide legal advice across commercial consumer IP corporate and property matters
Draft and maintain standard contracts and templates
Manage disputes and support litigation processes
Deliver legal training and guidance to the business
Support the Assistant Company Secretary with board materials reports regulatory filings and governance tasks
Assist with ASX and ASIC compliance maintaining company registers and managing employee share plans
