As a Dealer Sales Representative Residential you will represent the Simpson StrongTie Company to achieve product sales in the Residential market for North Georgia. You will be responsible for providing support service/training and ensuring that our products are in stock well maintained and well represented. You will coordinate with and contribute to the overall branch and company efforts to grow our business. The Residential market segment encompasses all projects specifiers contractors and distribution channels/partners servicing residential building. Dealer Sales will be the primary point of contact for the Residential construction supply chain. You are responsible for sales of all Simpson product lines based on customer needs competition and market potential. You will also participate in customer training sessions and contractor events. Marketing and merchandising experience a plus. You will work with your Territory Sales Manager to communicate market trends and field intelligence to ensure customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING(% of Time)
Meet with current and prospective customers to build relationships demonstrate and explain product features and benefits present new retail program offerings provide samples and procure orders. Provide No Equal customer support to resolve problems provide ongoing service and training as needed. (50%)
Build maintain and reset customer product displays as needed including literature and signage. Keep customer sets neat including occasional stocking of products to improve sales. (25%)
Support territory initiatives to ensure that all efforts are in alignment with company branch and territory goals. Support builder and dealer partners by reviewing product installations on residential jobsites. Analyze industry and market needs to increase sales. Develop strategies and collaborate with Territory Sales Manager. (10%)
Promote Simpson StrongTie as an industry partner; participate in contractor events; provide educational opportunities in customer settings throughout your territory to various audiences that could include suppliers contractors and homeowners. Educate customers on use of the Customer Portal. (10%)
Other duties and responsibilities including but not limited to consistent CRM management and usage scheduling weekly travel business planning submitting expense reports in a timely manner regular maintenance of companyowned vehicles and other responsibilities as directed by your manager. (5%)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand walk sit see talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job the employee may occasionally push or lift up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in both a professional office environment customer sites and outdoor construction job sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones printers/scanners etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.
TRAVEL REQUIRED
This job requires 40% domestic travel. Overnight stays within the territory is between 4 6 nights a month. Dealer Sales representative will be driving within the territory weekly. Occasional flight travel required.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This fulltime exempt position is ideally located in the MetroAtlanta Area.
RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
PAY
$52500.00 $75100.00 / year
