About The Role:
Blended BDM Customer and BDM Program role in markets which lack sufficient critical mass to deploy both roles
What Youll Do:
- Manage SMB accounts of moderate complexity with some supervision adjusting for partner size and complexity.
- Drive profitable market share growth by executing the Business Unit strategy in line with the established plan.
- Effectively present solutions to key customers by understanding the value proposition.
- Leverage existing relationships to support new partner and vendor recruitment.
- Drive sales from the agreed vendor portfolio including identifying and onboarding new vendors to optimize results.
- Lead sales efforts for specific vendors or projects requiring specialized knowledge.
- Empower sales teams to capture and expand market share and wallet share.
- Negotiate and win key Vendors and large deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders to establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor.
- Enhance customer loyalty and profitability.
- Collaborate with Field Sales and vendors to meet business objectives.
- Support the development of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and assist in crosstraining and mentorship.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned vendor lines.
- Engage key customers to drive sales revenue and margin growth.
- Collaborate with vendor sales operational and marketing teams.
- Develop longterm acquisition strategies and quarterly business plans.
- Foster relationships with clients and partners using onsite interactions when possible.
- Strategize with team members to navigate gatekeepers for Enterprise accounts.
- Drive pipeline growth and increase new business opportunities through meetings with resellers.
- Work proactively with resellers to close renewals and schedule significant revenue opportunities.
- Achieve a sales pipeline of 2x target each quarter.
- Use sales acumen to advance opportunities through each sales stage.
- Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities for resellers.
- Map accounts with Business Partner Sales Reps.
- Conduct weekly calls with vendor teams to share pipeline progress and partner enablement activities.
- Hold weekly meetings with internal teams (BDRs) to identify short and longterm prospecting targets.
- Forecast pipeline and revenue potential for your book of business (30 60 90 days).
What Were Looking For:
- 35 years of Software sales experience required.
- 2D/3D CAD industry experience.
- AR / VR / XR experience.
- Expertise in both solution selling and volume selling
- Background with reoccurring business revenue models
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- Thorough knowledge of solutions and assigned products
- Ability to deliver strategic vendor solutions and identify new partners.
- Established relationships with key Vendor and/or Reseller contacts.
- Existing partner relationships in the CAD space preferred
- Proficient in communication negotiation and collaboration.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
- Comfortable with technology and basic office tasks.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally work nonstandard hours.
- Remote/workfromhome capability.
