Job Description
We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to find a Delivery Lead for a highimpact role within their Capital Markets technology team. Based in Montreal this position offers the opportunity to work on a global scale collaborating with international teams to deliver missioncritical trading platform solutions.
As the Delivery Lead for Core Platforms youll oversee a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering solutions across five key domains: trading platform core services pricing engines structuring tools BI & analytics and dashboarding solutions. Your role will blend leadership technology strategy and handson team enablement within a fastpaced capital markets environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
Foster a highperformance inclusive team culture focused on autonomy innovation and continuous improvement.
Coach mentor and support team members in achieving individual and team goals.
Establish a collaborative transparent environment with open lines of communication across teams and stakeholders.
Project & Delivery Management
Oversee the endtoend delivery of enhancements and solutions aligned with business priorities.
Ensure adherence to best practices in software development quality assurance and change management.
Partner closely with Product Owners and global stakeholders to manage priorities and expectations.
Technical Oversight
Champion the adoption of Agile DevOps and Software Craftsmanship principles.
Lead proactive efforts to manage technical debt and improve system performance.
Encourage continuous learning and the adoption of emerging technologies within the team.
Operational Excellence
Provide transparent reporting on delivery progress risks and KPIs.
Drive quality across the SDLC from impact analysis through to testing and postrelease support.
Collaborate with infrastructure support and vendor teams to ensure seamless deployment and operations.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
610 years of overall experience in IT delivery or software engineering.
Minimum 5 years in a leadership or delivery management role.
Minimum 2 years of handson experience with trading systems or capital markets platforms.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with C# and related development tools (e.g. Visual Studio).
Strong SQL experience (preferably with SQL Server).
Familiarity with DevOps practices and toolsets (CI/CD pipelines deployment automation).
Understanding of enterprise IT architecture and systems integration.
Soft Skills
Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in both French and English.
Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
