RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive fleet sales growth.
  • Identify target markets and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends to forecast future sales oppotunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs recommend appropriate vehicle solutions and address any concerns or issues regarding fleet purchases.
  • Lead and manage a team of fleet sales representatives.
  • Set performance goals and KPIs for the sales team.
  • Train mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Structure fleet deals including financing options.
  • Ensure deals comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate with vehicle manufacturers and distributors to secure inventory and competitive pricing.
  • Work with manufacturers to keep up with product developments and offerings that could appeal to fleet buyers.
  • Participate in industry trade shows and events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Organize promotional events such as product launches or fleet demonstrations.
  • Track key metrics such as lead conversion rates average deal size and customer retention.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure that the department operates within budget contraints.
  • Other tasks as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 5 years of fleet or commercial sales with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong managerial skills to lead a team effectively.
  • Ability to negotiate large complex deals.
  • Indepth understanding of the automotive industry and fleet management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and meet the unique needs of fleet customers.
  • Ability to interpret sales data and trends for business improvement.
  • A Bachelors degree in business marketing or related field extensive experience may be sufficient.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Ability to pass a background check and preemployment drug screen.
