Job Description
As theBest Buy Business Account Manager (AM) I you must be a professional salesperson who has an entrepreneurial spirit internal drive for success and sales skills that build on a consultative selling process. As a successful AM you will leverage the tools and resources provided by Best Buy and our vendor partners build and maintain existing relationships with customers prospect & generate new relationships educate customers on our offerings and capabilities produce credible opportunities and complete successful closure of solution sales. This is a consultative sales process that requires you to have an entrepreneurial spirit and drive for success.
This is a fastpaced role in an everchanging environment. It will require that you can multitask at a moments notice and have strong interpersonal skills when interacting with internal employees external customers vendors and channel partners.
This role is remote eligible which means you would work virtually from home or another nonBest Buy location. Hours for this position vary depending on the territory that you support. The Account Manager I is a base pay plus commissionbased role. This specific role will cover Pacific Time Zone Markets. A candidate living on the west coast is preferred but not required.
What youll do
Establish a brand as a trusted business advisor to the customer.
Analyze multiple market factors to both anticipate/identify customer problems/needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Engage crossfunctional resources regardless of geographic location in order to achieve goals and meet customer needs.
Effectively balance shortterm and longterm priorities.
Gain knowledge of and execute the use of internal and external resources (i.e. Navigator Zoom info CRM Qlikview)
Develop and implement account plans that drive the attainment of critical business.
Engage in contract negotiation and possess strong financial/business and pricing knowledge.
Basic qualifications
2 or more years phone based selling experience
2 or more years of experience prospecting clients
Preferred qualifications
Bachelors degree in business sales or related field
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft CRM Navigator Zoom Info or equivalent resources
Experience selling off contracts
